Cats are curious and so it may often be a good idea to keep them busy and out of trouble. Since cats are curious by nature it is a good idea to preempt their activities with your own.
Cats are often clever creatures and if left to their own devices, they are sometimes too smart for their own good. Curiosity killed the cat so it is better to give them something safe to do.
You might hear from people that cats can just be left alone and don’t need anything to do or play with. But you will often find that just putting something in front of a cat can arouse different types of feelings.
One of the standbys is the old string choice. Something like this allows a cat to remain busy and not cause too many problems.
One of the other reliable choices is a scratching post for your cat. They can be entertained with one of these for days one end and nothing gets destroyed if you use one of these.
That doesn’t mean that you can’t decide on something original if you want something different. But if you choose one of these then you can actually leave the cat to play by itself.
Many cats enjoy chasing after something that they can hit around a little bit. So you might want to go for something that hangs off a little stick and you can move it around for the cat to run after.
With a toy like this, you can play with a cat for a long time and they don’t get bored. Cats enjoy chasing after things so this is a good way for you to get in on the fun.
Cats are curious so anything that peaks that curiosity will be entertaining for them but not everything works. Any of these options should really be a lot of fun for your cat and even you as well.
